All Witchcraft ability manual locations in The Blood of Dawnwalker

Finding Witchcraft manuals really helps make Blood of Dawnwalker's human combat a lot of fun. These hexes can summon a murder of crows, set enemy blood ablaze, or even protect and reflect against a single instance of damage. The catch, however, is that you'll have to track down skill manuals to unlock them. I'll run through where to find them all below and provide a list of all the Witchcraft vendors you can buy manuals from.

All Witchcraft ability locations

There are ten Witchcraft abilities, but you'll unlock Compel Soul, Astral Communion, Burning Blood, and Mercurial Fervour from Anca towards the end of the prologue. You'll have to find manuals to unlock the other six and level them all, which you can usually get via completing Ancient Circles, Haunted Sites, or any of the Pilgrimage of Power quests.

Below is the most optimal order to grab the abilities, plus any additional manual locations I've found.

Ravenous Flock manual locations

• Area attack and stun a target with a flock of crows. Attacking the target triggers additional area attacks.

You can get this manual by completing the Pilgrimage of Power: Bear Trouble quest, directly west across the river from Laslea Gate shrine in Laslea Glen.

1. You can get another manual by completing Pilgrimage of Power: Fanatics in northeast St. Tyna's Grove, directly east across the river from the Woodland Outpost shrine in the north.

Cycle of Ruin manual locations

• Extends duration of active Witchcraft abilities with each landed attack, block, and Perfect Block.

You can get this manual by completing the Ancient Circle at the west end of the Cursed Chasm in far west Briar Sloughs. You can get to the bottom of the ravine by heading northwest from the Coward's Path shrine to where you can see a path snaking down on the map. Make sure to grab the legendary sword while you're down there.

1. You can find another after you defeat Svetlana, The Dark Prodigy in The Silts tower, in the south of The Silts region, just south of the Aurelius's Tower shrine.
2. There's another one in Xanthe's mansion during The Cycle of Love quest, in the room on the upper left side that requires two of the lanterns to open.
3. You can buy another from Mevasser, the Sanzhana merchant, and the Uriash Matriarch.

Soul Reaping manual locations

• Lifesteals target over time and keep him away.

You can get this manual by completing the Ancient Circle directly to the east of Maragir, through the forest, in the Maragir Wealds.

1. You can get another manual by completing the Haunted: River Massacre site, just to the northeast of Greifburg Castle, east of Svartrau.
2. You can get another from the vault chest in the room of The Silts tower where you fight Svetlana, The Dark Prodigy, in the south of The Silts, south of Aurelius's Tower shrine.
3. You can buy another manual from Vera, Mevasser, and the Uriash Matriarch.

Burning Blood manual location

• Deals damage over time to a target.

You already start with this ability, but you can find another manual by completing the Ancient Circle in Maragir Wealds, just to the southwest of Eerie Knoll shrine, also north of Stuga Bridge shrine, in the south of the region.

1. You can get another manual from the chest at the top of Boar's Back Tower in the Boar's Back region.
2. You can find another manual in the Curious House to the northwest of the cathedral, directly opposite, in Svartrau, accessible via a balcony at night.
3. You can buy another manual from Anca, Mevasser, and the Uriash Matriarch.

Unholy Vitality manual locations

• Regenerates health after using abilities.

You can get this manual by completing the Haunted: Site of Crucifixion in south Maragir Wealds, directly south of St. Clements' Monastery in Maragir itself, and south of the Eerie Knoll shrine.

1. You can get another by defeating the final boss of Anca's Echoes of Silenced Bells quest.
2. You can buy another from the Uriash Matriarch and the Sanzhana merchant.

Soul Stigma manual locations

• Higher critical chance and critical damage on target.

You can get this manual by completing the Ancient Circle in northeast St. Tyna's Grove, just a little way northeast of the St. Tyna's Grove Tower shrine in the east of the region.

1. You can get another in a chest at the end of Anca's Stronger Than Achilles quest.
2. You can buy another manual from Vera, Anca, or the Uriash Matriarch.

Mercurial Fervor manual locations

• Gain haste in exploration by briefly slowing down the world around you.

This is another ability you unlock just after the prologue, but you can find another manual on the top floor of St. Tyna's Convent library in Anca's Echoes of Silenced Bells quest.

1. Another manual is sold by the Sanzhana merchant and the Uriash Matriarch.

Life Lock manual locations

• Blocks damage and reflects it back to the enemy.

You automatically unlock this ability during the Who Pulls the Strings quest, which is part of the Manumit questline. Complete The Firebrand, Shadows in the Woods, Where Loyalty Lies, then continue with their quests to eventually encounter this skill in Aurelius's tower during Who Pulls the Strings.
