Overview

Amazon is exclusively releasing one of the coolest-looking horror collections I have ever seen this Fall.

The "80's Horror 5-Film Steelbook Library Case" features Nightmare on Elm Street, Poltergeist, The Lost Boys, The Shining, and Little Shop of Horrors in one brilliant package, designed to look like a classic VHS collection.

And, oh boy, this is a beauty.

Priced at $144.99, the horror collection is set to release alongside a whole bunch of other Steelbook Editions via Amazon on October 6, 2026.

Included as part of the bundle, you get all five films in 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and as digital copies, alongside unique Steelbook cases for each as well.

There's also five Mini VHS Sleeves, a Mini "80's Horror" Shelf Sign, a certificate, stickers, and five rental posters for each of the films as well.

Preorders are now live via the online retail giant, and as I mentioned, this is the only place that you can get your hands on the classic 80s horror bundle in its awesome library case.

Details

I'll leave a picture of the full collection just below so you can take a proper look before proceeding to Amazon to lock in your preorder.

Given how things are going with digital media across film, TV, and gaming, and platform owners repeatably taking away the rights to films or TV shows you've already paid for, I think it's more important than ever to be building up your physical collection of films. And that's especially true for your favorites.

Plus, might I remind you that your Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 doubles as a 4K Blu-ray player, so you're covered for watching these films in the best quality possible.

These aren't the only films getting a special edition release in the near future either, as Van Helsing as also recently gone up for preorder at Amazon, alongside An American Werewolf in London, and the latest "Complete Era" collections for Doctor Who.
