Everything I'd do differently in Cregger's Resident Evil film

The fact that Bryan was forced down this spiral of blood, guts, and tears just because he thought he could make a bit more cash is simultaneously the most realistic and tragic aspect of the new Resident Evil movie.

And honestly, I get it. Who doesn't need a bit of extra money right now? So if my hands were really tied and I didn't have any choice about taking the package into Raccoon City, here's what I'd really do differently.

Spoilers ahead for the Resident Evil film

• Don't call and drive. Even if your girlfriend's angry at you, jeopardising your safety on an icy road is never the answer.
• I wouldn't have thrown the ladder at the dog because that's not nice. Although I also wouldn't get that close to it.
• Getting a snack is a good shout although I'd miss out the milk as I'm lactose intolerant.
• No way in hell I'd open the door in the RV.
• I'd have snatched those car keys so fast.
• In the interest of preserving bullets, I'd have taken a close range shot at the padlock first.
• Take the stairs, man. Yes, I would have complained about it the whole way up, but the elevator is out of order for a reason.
• I would like to think that I'd tell the scientists I was infected and hopefully reason with them to give me the antidote, but in all honestly I probably would have gone out like Bryan.

But the main difference between Bryan and I (other than taking the overtime), would be that I would not have followed that lady into the woods. I know that's bad after hitting her with my car, and I would call for help. But come on: anyone who just walks off a hit like that is not alright and should not be buckled into the passenger seat next to you. That's scary movie rule number one.
