About
Overview
Marvel's Television and Animation panel at New York Comic Con 2026 included a number of exciting announcements, and IGN has all the reveals rounded up. The 'Up Next From Marvel Television and Marvel Animation' panel announced a brand new live-action MCU Disney+ show called Zodiac. It's a spy thriller due out in 2028. Expect more news on that in the coming weeks. While Zodiac was the headline announcement, confirmation of three more years of Marvel Zombies specials ran it close. Elsewhere, we got some fun new details on X-Men '97 Season 3, double confirmation that Daredevil: Born Again comes to an end with Season 3, and a release date for Season 2 of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. Catch up on all the action in our live blog, below. Marvel's TV and animation panel ended with the first episode of VisionQuest. No dramatic mic drop following the screening to close out the panel, unfortunately. The cast and creator of VisionQuest appeared on-stage to promote the upcoming Disney+ show. Paul Bettany, who plays Vision, jokes that his character has been at the pub since the dramatic events of WandaVision left him in White Vision form. Marvel is showing the first episode of the series, so you might not see updates for a while. Deadpool turned up in Season 2 more as an Easter egg than a cameo via the shapeshifting Morph. It looks like the real Deadpool will appear in Season 3, though. Marvel announced Marvel Zombies is coming back with three two-part specials, the first of which hits Disney+ Halloween 2027. The Winter Soldier comes out in 2027, The Fist of Konshu in 2028, and The Last Guardian in 2029. Marvel wouldn't say who the Last Guardian is, but it's "very very exciting."
