The Seagate "Game Drive for Xbox" 5TB USB 3.2 Portable Hard Drive is on sale for $169.99 with free shipping after a $50 instant discount. It's sold and shipped by Newegg, an authorized Seagate reseller. Yes, this same drive could have been purchased for as low as $100 two years ago, but times have changed. This is currently the cheapest price I can find for a portable 5TB drive in today's market. Just to clear up any confusion: although this drive is marketed as a "Game Drive for Xbox," this is simply a standard portable hard drive with Xbox licensing and a green LED bar that matches the Xbox motif. The drive boasts real world transfers of up to 100-150MB/s over USB 3.2. Probably the most annoying feature of this drive is that it has a USB 3.0 Micro-B connection, which isn't very common. Fortunately, a USB Micro-B to USB Type-A cable is provided. It you lose it, you're unlikely to have a spare and will probably need to buy a new one. A 1 year warranty is included.
