IDW Reveals a Bold, Colorful Future for The Twilight Zone
About
Overview
In 2025, IDW Publishing added a big gun to its IDW Dark imprint with the debut of a new The Twilight Zone series. Recently, the publisher revealed that the series has been extended for a new batch of six issues (taking the series up through issue #16), and IGN is pleased to be able to reveal new details and artwork from these upcoming books. Check out the slideshow gallery below to see cover art for The Twilight Zone #11-14: True to the format of the classic TV series, each new issue of The Twilight Zone will feature a standalone tale from a different creative team. These new issues will feature a common thread, however, as each is presented in full color rather than the traditional black-and-white. The creators involved include: "This next volume of the Twilight Zone paints the human spirit in technicolor," co-editors Nic Niño & Ellen Boener tell IGN. "In stories ranging from extraterrestrial to intimately human, we face man-eating plants, giants, funeral rites, and family tragedy… Each cartoonist is taking full advantage of the color in their issue and never in the way you would expect! It’s changed the way artists approach the page; with everyone submitting career-best work." Look for The Twilight Zone #11 to hit stores on October 21. You can preorder a copy at your local comic shop. For more, learn all about the very first Star Wars/Marvel crossover and see the first details about Wolverine: Origin III - The Dark Age.
