Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Update Adds Tom Holland's Brand New Day Spidey Suit
About
Overview
PlayStation 5 blockbuster Marvel's Spider-Man 2 has today been updated to add two new Spidey suits, including Tom Holland's new costume from Spider-Man: Brand New Day. In celebration of this week's new Spider-Man film, the web-slinging PS5 sequel has been patched to v1.005.000, which adds two new Spidey designs, plus support for Enhanced PSSR on PlayStation 5 Pro, as well as Power Saver mode. Sony first announced the PS5 Power Saver mode for certain games last year. When manually enabled, supported PS5 games will scale back performance and will allow your console to reduce its power consumption — a neat way to save on your energy bills and (slightly) cut down on your home's impact on the environment. The Brand New Day suit is available in-game now, labelled as the "Fresh Start" suit. Also available is the Spider-Man costume from Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Next up from the studio is Marvel's Wolverine, due to arrive exclusively for PS5 on September 15. And, of course, just hours remain until the launch of Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Officially due for release in theaters on July 31, previews begin tomorrow. Early reactions from press are already on social media — all of which are very positive — and the movie is now projected to be the biggest box office launch of the year so far.
