October Prime Day’s Excellent Audible Deal Ends Soon - Here’s What You Need to Know Before You Subscribe
About
Overview
As sure as death and taxes, Amazon’s Prime Day deal for Audible has returned in October, but it’s a little different this time. Amazon’s audiobook service has traditionally offered a trio of book choices and three months for free, but it’s mixing things up. The retailer is offering three months of Audible for $0.99 per month, as well as a $20 credit to let you pick some books for your collection - and that’s not all. As with prior Audible deals, you earn a ‘Credit’ each month, which you can use to add a book to your library permanently, even if you cancel your subscription. That means with this deal, you can grab three books for your ears for under $3, and that’s before you factor in the $20 credit, which is emailed over. Ahead of spooky season, you can grab a bunch of excellent September releases or finally listen to the Dungeon Crawler Carl audiobooks everyone's been talking about.. Just remember to pick one each month, because those credits don’t roll over with the Standard Plan. Also, be aware that after your four months are up, it’ll auto-renew at $8.99 per month. Naturally, you can cancel before then. As for what’s included, a quick glance shows Threshing Day by Rebecca Yarros, the Dungeon Crawler Carl series by Mat Dinniman, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula featuring Jonathan Bailey and Ella Purnell. There are even full-cast audiobooks for popular fantasy franchises like Harry Potter and The Witcher. What are you waiting for? Get listening! And then come back for more Prime Day deals from our expert team at IGN. Not all audiobooks are equally great and there's a lot to choose from.
