The AMD Ryzen 7 9700X CPU is an 8-core, 16-thread processor with a max boost clock of 55GHz. It's a great CPU for gaming because of its high clock speed. It only has eight cores, but that's plenty for games since very few titles can benefit from more than eight or even six cores.

The RTX 5060 Ti 16GB is much better than the 8GB found in most other prebuilts

The RTX 5060 Ti graphics card comes in two variants, with the only difference between the two being the amount of VRAM: 8GB or 16GB. Unlike the vast majority of prebuilts which are equipped with the 8GB model, this particular system is equipped with the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB model. If you can afford it, you should only get the 16GB model. Numerous outlets (including our own) have demonstrated that the performance gap between the 8GB and 16GB models is huge.

The RTX 5060 Ti (16GB) is a great GPU for 1080p gaming. It outperforms the RTX 4060 Ti by about 20%, and the gap widens in games that support DLSS 4.5 multi frame gen technology. The 16GB of VRAM also allows this GPU to hold its own in 1440p gaming, especially if you don't want to spend the extra $200-$300 to upgrade to an RTX 5070.
