Overview

Amazon is offering an incredible price on LG's highest-end OLED TV last year. While supplies last, Amazon is offering the premium 55" LG G5 Gallery Series 4K OLED TV for just $1,199.96 with free delivery. LG currently has it for $2,500. The G5 was the first Gallery Series TV to be equipped with LG's proprietary Primary RGB Tandem technology, a superior OLED tech with some distinct advantages over LG's mainstream Evo OLED panel.

Over 50% (or $1,300) Off the 55" LG G5 Gallery Series OLED TV

The G5 is the 2025 Gallery series model, which is LG's highest end OLED TV and quite possibly the best OLED TV, period. It has superior image quality compared to the C5 because the G5 is equipped with an MLA (micro lens array) OLED panel with Primary RGB Tandem technology. Tandem OLED stacks multiple OLED layers on top of each other instead of a single layer. Tandem OLED is better than other OLED panels because: 1) it's much brighter, and 2) it's less prone to burn-in.

We picked the LG Gallery series as one of our favorite TVs for gaming. That's because it's equipped with a native 120Hz panel that can be pushed up to 165Hz with variable refresh rate. It syncs with games running in 4K at 120fps on the PlayStation 5 Pro and virtually eliminates stuttering or screen tearing.

One note to keep in mind is that none of the LG G-series TVs include a stand. They are meant to be mounted on the wall like an art installation (hence the "Gallery" monikor). Instead, a flush mount wall bracket is included.
