The 10 Most Valuable Disney Lorcana Cards From Attack of the Vine
About
Overview
Disney Lorcana’s latest set launches this week, and Attack of the Vine already looks awesome, packed with great new cards and gorgeous new art treatments. From Pixar pals to classic Disney stars and more, there are plenty of chase cards, and we’ve used TCGplayer’s data to pull together the most valuable ones to look out for in your next booster pack. Here are the priciest cards from the set, with the caveat that these prices will shift massively following launch. The first card on our list stars the dynamic duo of Darkwing Duck and Launchpad, and could fetch you $160 going by pre-launch pricing. The artwork looks awesome, too, looking like a comic book cover befitting of the pair. Anyone else wish they had an adorable raccoon companion? Just me, then. While I try and befriend the urban legend, Jimothy, this Pocahontas card could help pay for my flights.\ Pocahontas & Meeko - Adventurous Friends’ Enchanted treatment is going for around $190 right now. The first card to break the $200 mark is Maleficent & Diablo - Evil Incarnate (Enchanted). The iconic Disney villain and her feathered companion look predictably grumpy, but the purple hues look awesome. Expect this Amethyst and Steel card to climb given how legendary the characters involved are. A first appearance for Pixar on this list (but not the last), Mike Wazowski - Heroic Climber (Enchanted) is going for around $240 at the time of writing. The diminutive Monsters, Inc star looks ready for battle, and is preparing to climb the mysterious vine. Slightly ahead of Mike is the combo of Peter Pan & Tinker Bell - Fast Friends (Enchanted). Not only does this give your other characters evasive, but I’d argue it’s some of the best art of the bunch. The detail in the hook, the skies, and the faces of the two stars looks amazing. You can’t have Mike without Sully, and Sulley & Boo - Scare Buddies (Enchanted) comes with the adorable Boo in her monster outfit, too. This version is just shy of $300 at the time of writing. A big jump from Sulley and Boo, Rapunzel & Flynn Rider - Unlikely Pair rockets to the $350 mark. You can play characters you discard, which is very welcome, and the pair are joined by Maximus, Pascal, and their trusty frying pan, too. There aren’t any more definitively Disney characters than Mickey Mouse & Minnie Mouse - Adventuring Duo (Enchanted). This new card highlights the two’s battles against The Vine, although it’s interesting to note that Mickey seems happier about it than Minnie does… OK, card draw and being able to play cards for free is great in any TCG, but come on… it’s Woody & Buzz! If there’s any card I’m after in this set, it’s this one, with an awesome art style that belies their toy origins and feels like it’s ripped straight from Andy’s imagination. Winnie the Pooh & Piglet - Hunny Mages continues the yellow bear’s streak of being a very desirable card in Lorcana terms, only this time he’s brought Piglet too. The most valuable card in the set so far is far beyond any other at $675, but expect that to shift in the coming days.
