The Massive LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer Is Nearly $50 Off For Prime Day
About
Overview
Amazon's Prime Day runs from now until June 26, and with it come countless deals on video games, gaming accessories, movies, board, games, toys, and so much more. If you're a LEGO fan, pretty much all of the best Prime Day LEGO deals are already available for you to peruse now, like the LEGO Back to the Future Speed Champions set, which is down to its lowest price ever. One of these deals is the huge and super detailed LEGO Star Wars Imperial Star Destroyer. During Prime Day, you can pick up the 1,555-piece set for $111.99, saving you $48 off of the original sticker price of $159.99. This set is likely to go out of stock at Amazon during the sale, however, so you'll want to act fast. The Imperial Star Destroyer has seen many iterations in brick form over the years, but this 25th Anniversary Edition, while not the largest version (we built that back in 2019), is still extremely detailed and recreates its onscreen counterpart well. All of the LEGO Star Wars 25th Anniversary Edition sets come with exclusive minifigures, and this set is no different; you'll get a Cal Kestis figure from the Star Wars Jedi video games. You'll also receive six other minifigures to go alongside him: Darth Vader, Commander Praji, an Imperial Gunner, an Imperial Officer, an Imperial Navy Trooper, and a Stormtrooper. The ship itself measures in at over 6in. high, 18in. long, and 11in. deep, so while it isn't the biggest version of the Imperial Star Destroyer we've seen, you may still have to make some shelf space for it. You can unfold the attached panels to access the detailed interior, where you'll find a command bridge and other Easter eggs. You can also utilize the two spring-loaded shooters that shoot deceptively fast. This is the lowest price we've ever seen on this LEGO set and we expect Amazon to run out of stock before Prime Day actually comes to an end. So with that in mind, if you've had your eye on this set and have been waiting for a discount, right now is one of the best times to buy. If you don't buy it now, however, it will probably drop in price again later this year. LEGO is retiring a number of sets in July 2026, but the Imperial Star Destroyer is not one of them. It's likely that Amazon will drop the price of this set again with upcoming sales like Prime Big Deal Days or Black Friday later in 2026. Myles Obenza is a freelance writer for IGN.
