Ubisoft May Have Accidentally Revealed the Next Nintendo Direct Date Thanks to a Just Dance Leak

Nintendo fans believe Ubisoft may have just revealed the date of the next Nintendo Direct, and if true, it's very soon.

Recently, a bunch of content from the new Just Dance game, Just Dance: Decades of Hits, surfaced online, prompting a response from Ubisoft. The studio confirmed the content is real and stated that it would reveal more on September 10.

Fans have started to connect the dots that this may be the date of the next Nintendo Direct. Historically, Ubisoft shows off the dancing franchise during Nintendo Directs in September, and Nintendo tends to hold these Directs around the date mentioned in Ubisoft's post.

Of course, this is just speculation, but it would track based on Nintendo's history. The company is overdue for some news on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, and Sony is also gearing up for a State of Play later this week. It's not uncommon for the two companies to have presentations back to back like this, though that is often coincidental.

Should this come to fruition, it means we will get a Nintendo Direct next Thursday, and we'll likely hear more about it early next week. It's unclear what else might show up at the Nintendo Direct, but you can likely expect a big focus on the Ocarina of Time remake, since that releases in November. We may also get a tease of what's on the horizon for 2027, but we'll just have to wait and see.
