Overview

One of the most beloved groups in Disney animation history is the princesses, and that popularity meant that the upcoming Lorcana drop, Curator’s Collection: Heroines Edition, saw a bit of a fracas at a London Disney store.

While we’re waiting for an update on how fans can get the product in stores, it is available on the secondary market already. And, while the price is dropping from last week, it’s still considerably more expensive than it should be.

As you’d imagine given the Heroines tag, this boxed product includes foil versions of some of Disney’s most legendary princesses and female stars.

Inside, you can find the following, with each card in foil:

  • Ariel - Spectacular Singer
  • Elsa - Trusted Sister
  • Jasmine - Royal Seafarer
  • Mulan - Elite Archer
  • Anna - Trusting Sister
  • Tinker Bell - Giant Fairy

Disney Lorcana’s own blog post explains that the set will only be sold “at select Disney Parks and Disney Stores”, and that quantities are limited, but even they probably didn’t predict the chaos that ensued in Oxford Street.

Still, the set is available online at TCGplayer, albeit at a steep, steep markup. While our advice would be to “Let It Go” and hope for a reprint, you can make it “Part Of Your World” for around $400 at the time of writing. That’s four times the $99.99 MSRP.

We’ll leave the decision up to you, but it’s there if you’re keen. Maybe enjoy a period of “Reflection” before doing “The Next Right Thing”. OK, I'll stop now, honest.
