Woot's Summer Sale is Already Beating Amazon Prime Day for the Best Gaming Deals
About
Overview
Prime Day may now be live, but Woot's 'Summer of Gaming Sale' is already your best option if you're hoping to score some decent video game deals. Until June 29, the Amazon-owned online retailer is offering quite a large selection of gaming items at a discount, but there's a solid selection of Switch game deals, in particular, that caught our eye. No matter if you're using the original Nintendo Switch or have splashed out on the Switch 2, there's a discount for everyone to enjoy in Woot's sale. Among the many that got our attention, both the Switch 1 and Switch 2 copies of Breath of the Wild are discounted, down to $43.99 and $59.99, respectively. Considering Tears of the Kingdom (for both Switch 1 and 2) is discounted right now at Amazon as well, it's perfect timing to grab them for your Nintendo library. For Switch 2 users, another deal worth considering is on Pokémon Legends: Z-A, which is down to $59.99 at Woot. We consider this one of the best Pokémon video games of all time, so why not take this opportunity to add it to your library for a little less? There's plenty more where these came from, though. Above, you can see even more of our favorite Switch game deals from Woot's sale, but if you want to see everything that's available, make sure you check out Woot's full sale page here. Video games aren't the only deals Woot has for Nintendo fans right now, though. The retailer has also dropped an excellent offer on a Nintendo Switch 2 console. By using the promo code "CHEAPSWITCH2" at checkout, you can save an extra $30 on the console, bringing the total down to $419. However, if you're a first time customer to Woot, you'll qualify for an additional discount that drops the final price to just $399. With a price hike on the horizon, this is an excellent way to scoop up the console and save some cash. Hannah Hoolihan is a freelancer who writes with the guides and commerce teams here at IGN.
